My First Knitting Class….

Posted by Allison on June 9, 2006

Anyone who reads my blog must know by now that I’m not busy enough. Working full time, studying to become a real estate agent and knitting up felted bags like it’s no bodies business is CLEARLY not enough. So what do I do? I decide to take a class at my favorite LYS. What class you ask? FREAKIN’ SOCKS. Why socks you ask? Because while reading blogs I got jealous. EVERYONE knows how to knit socks but me. I don’t have enough of a stash, I’m not crazy enough with so little time on my hands. The lady who taught me is wonderful and I’m going to go back in a couple of weeks and learn some more!

So I’m done my real estate course and have my permission to write but I’m not writing until the end of June. I’m hoping to get a better handle on the math part of the course before I write the test. And I’m sure I can with a little more study time. I bombed on the last assignment because I rushed it but luckily I still got over the required percentage to not to have to redo it.

Oh and did I mention I’m sick. Fuck. I have the stomach flu. And it has kicked me in the butt. I didn’t even go to work today.

I did however, knit.

    You knit therefore you live!

I hope you’re feeling better baby girl and guess what? I’m proud of you for doing well in your studies – you’re going to be a great real estate agent esp since I just know you’re going to knit a nice afghan or something for each of your purchasing clients!
    LOLOL ~

    Feel better soon!
