I had a BRILLIANT idea.

Posted by Allison on July 21, 2010

Do you ever have one of those ideas that you think, this is it!  This is a super duper winning idea. I’m going to patent this and be rich!  No one in the world could have EVER come up with this idea before because I am so brilliant. I had that idea about an hour ago.  It stopped me in my tracks to be honest.  I was sitting here thinking about cutting boards, because I should be packing and instead I’m avoiding.  I was reading about how to clean your cutting boards and thinking wow, people really DO that much to clean their cutting boards?  But then I thought wouldn’t it be easier to have cutting boards that were separate for each thing, maybe colour coded!  The I thought WOW what if you had a picture on each board and they were in a little rack….

Then I saw this cutting board at Joseph Joseph, yes it’s beautiful…..dammit.

Anyway, back to reality.  and packing….I hate packing.

Wow! You BOTH stole MY idea! LMAO! 😀

Seriously, though, as a vegetarian who’s lived with carnivores, I’ve actually thought about that numerous, numerous times.

But keep thinking, cuz that was a damn brilliant idea! Maybe you could improve on it? Or just steal it and sell in an untapped market. No need to reinvent the wheel.

apparently people don’t have their first original thought until almost the age of 30. Maybe for others, it’s later? Or sooner?

I haven’t had mine yet, though I have invented my own word.

    Angrified. Angrification.

Feel free to use them at any point… I actually said the word about ten years ago to a lawyer friend of mine… and then I heard him use it in a sentence a few weeks ago. “I can’t remember where I learned that word!” he said to me…. ‘duh, I made it up!’
