Why has no body told me about Jen Lancaster? Have you no soul? Have you no heart? Geez. Anyone who writes books called Bitter is the New Black and Bright Lights Big Ass is definately someone I should be paying attention to….plus the fact that they are little essays nonfiction…come ON people! And the footnotes, you know how I love a footnote! I was doing an open house (does that sound sexual to anyone else? anyone…..anyone…..Bueller?) and the client left out the book Bright Lights Big Ass and I read HALF of it in 2 hours. HILARIOUS. I’ve been reading her blog Jennsylvani for an hour now and I think I may have peed on my computer chair a little. Go read….I’ll wait.

Really? I saw them and decided they were stupid romance novels, the sort of which flooded the market after Bridget Jones and the Shopaholic and weren’t very good. Talk about judging a book by its cover.
